PRIMARY SPINE CARE

Primary spine practitioners are specialty level trained healthcare providers who provide primary care for spine related disorders. With advanced level training in ruling out red flags, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitative exercise and co-management with other specialists; PSPs are uniquely trained to either manage the majority of spine disorder patients or help guide them through  the process to get to resolution.

Primary spine practitioners ensure that patients receive the right treatment at the right time, get imaging (X-rays, MRIs, etc) only when needed and see advanced specialists (pain management, surgeons, etc) only when conservative measures have first failed.

In short, there is no one in healthcare better trained to conservatively help and manage patients with spine related disorders than a certified primary spine practitioner. Dr. Kennedy was honored to be selected in the first graduating classs of PSPs and brings this cutting edge level of spine care home to serve his community on the Treasure Coast.
